DETAILS: CAS Kids Camp teaches children the importance of "Sharing Our World With Animals" as they become tomorrow's responsible and compassionate leaders. Camp sessions will be held at Collierville Animal Services and include animal craft projects to bring home and valuable humane education presentations that include: bite prevention, responsible pet ownership, the importance of spay/neuter and the value of volunteering time and donating physical needs to our community. Lot of "hands-on" fun and learning are promised!
Camp is available to children ages 6-12, limited to only 12 kids per session. Cost is $30, and the one day camps are Thursday, December 21; Wednesday, December 27 and Thursday, December 28. Times for all 3 dates are 11:00am-3:30pm. Children need to bring a sack lunch, no microwave meals please. CAS will provide all drinks and snacks, along with a CAS Kids Camp T-shirt. CAS Junior Volunteers assist Terri Manning, CAS Volunteer Coordinator/Camp Director, as camp counselors.
Space is limited and registration will open Monday, November 27 at noon. Applications can be obtained at Animal Services. Applications must be filled out at the Animal Services office, you may not pick them up and take them home. Full payment must accompany all applications. A waiting list will be made in case of cancellations. Refunds will only be made with minimum of 1 week's notice.
