NONCONNAH CREEK SET TO EXPAND

Collierville recently unveiled the Nonconnah Creek Regional Trail's first 1.3-mile segment leading to a path that would stretch across the south end of Shelby County.

When asked about the type of animals that were "out there," Paul Wilburn, maintenance director for Parks and reaction said that there were a lot of deer and a few snakes..
The trail curves in different, interesting ways as it follows the north bank of Nonconnah Creek and reviews different, breathtaking views.
In the following weeks, the town will apply for a $1.1 million grant to extend the trail from the Houston Levee to the town limits.
